All of the new Simply DT, No Added Bisphenol facestocks will comply with Washington State Legislation banning bisphenols in thermal paper and will not require warning labels as outlined by Prop 65.

Washington State
What is it: It is a domestic regulation Target — Drink can, food cans and thermal paper.
When: January 1, 2026
What to expect: Restriction
- Banning: From January 1st, 2026
- No person may manufacture, sell, or distribute Thermal Paper products that contains intentionally added bisphenols.
- This does not apply to consumer product manufactured before January 1, 2026.
- Regulation definition of intentionally added: above 200 ppm (0.02%).
- Manufacturers may rebut this presumption by submitting a statement to ecology that includes the following information.
- The name and address of the person submitting the statement.
- A statement that a bisphenol was not intentionally added. Provide credible evidence supporting that statement and include information, data, or sources relevant to demonstrate that a bisphenol was not intentionally added.
Reporting: If at any point federal action preempts the ability to implement the restrictions
