Yes, IMAGin JT1000 series is for water based and JT5000 series is for solvent and UV based inkjet printing?
Category: Graphics ImaginIMAGin JT1000 series is top coated to help absorb the water in the inks. IMAGin JT5000 series products are not top coated.

If you would rather solvent/UV screen print you may also choose to use MACscreen 8129R. MACtac does not recommend using IMAGin JT1858R from our line of water based inkjet media because even when laminated the image could be damaged by the water used when cleaning the floor.
